Infinity - Nomads Reverend Healer

Question for you: After seeing all of these, I'm noticing that you're painting on generic shadows for the figures on the bases. True, or am I just imagining things? :) How would you determine the color to shade the base with in the shadow area?

Not sure I understand the question, Tim.
ReplyDeleteYes, I am shading the centers of the bases, highlighting toward the edges. This does help it appear that the model is casting its shadow.
The color - It's just like shaing any other color; use a darker version of itself. These are black <> Coal Black <> Exile Blue <> Underbelly Blue.
Even through my vagueness you still answered it :) I just noticed the shadows on the base and thought it really added a level of depth and 'gravity' to the figure. Thanks Tom!
